Most of my life my weight fluctuated between a size 4 & 7.
After giving birth to my children,at 21, I remained between a 4 & 7.
I didn't become obese (which is what my weight is considered for my 5'2" frame) until I CHOSE to be.

When my boys voiced concerns over my weight I decided to do something about it.At 45, I shrunk my size in half(24-14)but wanted to halve it again to be at my "happy,feel good" weight/size.

But life isn't always as planned & I allowed my life to become derailed for the last time in this regard.

Today,at 51, I am once again asking my body to forgive me: Not with words of promises broken,but with all that I will do(& wont do)from this day forward for the rest of my life.

This day I begin not just a weight loss program but a life-long transformation journey! My body & I have a long road to travel,but that's okay...we are enjoying getting to know each other again.

"We can not become who we want to be by remaining who we are."

Update-10/7/2014-Tomorrow marks a year since I wrote the above words & I still feel the same! :) Altho' my weigh in's show an increase,my journals show that I am still ever present in my "Transformation Journey" even if not as often as I prefer.

My overall goal is to reshape my body & to be healthy & happy with what *I* see. :)

Ideal Goal Weight-120. My #'s are not set in stone. They are the #'s I had when I felt happiest & healthy. This journey is to transform my MIND as well as my BODY so GONE are the days of setting myself up for disappointment by claiming a # or a date in which I MUST reach my goals in order to be successful. Success to ME is "doing" what I "aim" to do. And that's on-going....for life. :)
