I have fell off the wagon I had lost about 140 lbs. I had been featured in the AJC in Atlanta giving Oprah advise, Spoke at the Capitol in Atlanta about weight loss. I have preached to everyone about getting your head right your heart right eat right and get moving. I stopped practicing what I preached.

I am 58 years young.

In 1986 I weighed 320lbs and was in pretty good shape when I joined the police force. I want to get back to my "fighting weight". I basically have been behind a desk for the last 2o years or so.

I went to the cardiologist after my weight loss. I had been going every three months. I had been put on BP meds. But after I started losing weight and walking 2-5 miles a day my numbers dropped way of and he took me off of them. He was amazed that I had done what I told him that I was going to do. I had lost over 80 lbs since April 20 2008. My goal is to lose 100 in a year. He said that he would see me in 6 months.

Since then I went thru a divorce, got married , bought a house, lost my Dad , lost my mentor at work and had emergency surgery and almost died February 2010

2014 went thru nasty divorce married a crazy. I am now with a woman that I have know since we were teenagers never been so happy. But 2 months in i died on the operating table they brought me back spent 30 days in the hospital.

The biggest thing is getting your mind right and deciding for your self that you want to do this. I have fought it for a long time. I have always been big and you hear that all the time but I was. When I was born I was 24 inches long and over 10lbs. I have only grown 4 ft 2 inches since I was born.

I love walking
