Melissatwa— when I first joined FS I had been on a vacation for two weeks to areas of the southwest where there were minimal healthier food choices and I gained about 7 lb.. At the same time I was trying to help a few people in my life who had diabesity to monitor their food and weight and exercise just a little easier. They quickly lost interest (too much work) and quit and I just stayed. They have both since died. Essential my blue line has been the same for at least 30 years. I have never been overweight because I had a very physical job and am an outdoors person and I learned portion control and moderation earlier in life. Like everyone else I have a family with lots of diabesity and made the decision that that would not be me if I could help it. Horrible disease.
