A beautiful Southern California day. 75 degrees. I went walking at a park called Mile Square for literal reasons. It is a mile square. People were doing yoga, Thai chi, riding bikes, roller skating (I guess it is IN again), running, walking, BBQing. It has a beautiful archery range, golf course, baseball fields and basketball courts as well as a volleyball area and all along the trails are outdoor exercise equipment with signs that show how to use them. Most people were masked, the exercise classes were all physically distanced and what was really wonderful was seeing FAMILIES out there with their kids, playing frisbee etc. also saw a number of groups of people just sitting out on camp chairs, spaced apart, just visiting. Oh yes, a cheerleading squad just out practicing.. a really great day.
