The people in my world are mostly fire and medical. We have a different focus this year on Thanksgiving besides food.. We are grateful that our homes and families are intact. Many husbands, sons and grandsons have gone North to help in the NoCal. Fire. People have loaded their RVs and trucks to head north to take food and supplies to the fireman and the thousands of displaced with nowhere to go. They are taking camping supplies, medical supplies, water, clothes. They are still looking for the dead— still more than 600 people missing. People are bringing horses and other animals here to care for them as long as needed. It is so good to see that we in California can all still come together when we need to.
