Low carb lifestyle is for me. I started out "doing Atkins", but the difference in the way I feel is SO remarkable, that I can't envision going back to the toxic eating pattern I've lived for so long. Yes, I miss a lot of those foods, but it really isn't a struggle to pass them up most of the time.
I will be 60 this year, and currently take no medication at all. I want to drop the excess pounds, so that I can continue to live this way.
My big issue is getting more exercise. There are so many things I enjoy doing that simply do not lend themselves to a lot of movement. I am working on finding the motivation to carve out at least a few minutes a day to get the body in motion.
