I had lunch with my sister yesterday afternoon then took the opportunity for a solitary ramble around an antique store she told me about. She had to go back to work. I ordered wings & we shared an order of fries. I ate half my wings, all the carrot sticks & some celery. Between the 2 of us we still didn't finish the fries. 😊 I also stopped at Target. I wanted to see if they had the Madeleine cookies I'd purchased there before in their bakery. Success! I've been wanting a special treat after dinner. I always have something after dinner & like to have a choice or two that's satisfying but not over the top in calories. I bought some Welch's Fruit snacks (80 calorie little bags)....a "chewy" candy option. I also stopped at Walmart & bought some Breyers Cherry Vanilla ice cream (150 calories for 2/3 cup). I don't deprive myself of treats....I like to have options.

I've been trying to work past feelings of mild depression lately. Nothing serious but they're there. It's not unusual this time of year, but I think it's been more prevalent than some years. Getting out of the house yesterday helped. I need to be sure I get out more.

I took out ground beef to defrost....I think I'll make meatloaf for dinner with potatoes & green beans.

My weight has been hovering around the upper end of my "acceptable" level. I've been in maintenance going on 2 years. Trying to stay balanced in spite of feeling like eating a bit more.

Well time to feed the dogs & cook our dinner....

2 years of maintenance already... Wow- You sure are an inspiration! Hope you are cheered up soon. I agree- just getting out sometimes can be such a mood booster. Take care!

Thanks, DP. Yeah, March 2nd will be 2 years. Sometime I'm amazed I've managed to remain steady that long! I know that interacting with the friends I've made on FS has helped keep me accountable.
