Had a relatively good weekend. Yes, I had small amounts of lite ice-cream, but we took the dogs for a walk on the beach and I even did some tricep extensions sitting on the pool step while trying to stay cool in the weekend's heat wave. I feel positive that I can reach below 68 by next Monday. Going to a birthday party on Saturday, but that should be fine. Cutting out alcohol seems to be helping a bit as well - as Friday night's spit braai wasn't too bad indulging-wise. Just had a small seed bun as a starter, which I know is healthy from reading the packaging in Spar recently - with a healthy dose of butter and some olive tapenade, which I think is fairly healthy. Had a small spoonful of potato salad, but everything else on my modest plate was fine - cut my fat off the lamb too.
