Day #9. Down 14.5 pounds, which took me 12 days to do in my May fast. Mildly disappointed that, for the first time in this fast, I only lost 1/2 pound today. I was somewhat expecting that, though, since it happened last time. I'm praying I won't get discouraged by the slowed weight loss, or that God would speed it up again. I'm still very thankful that things are going so smoothly. God is continuing to buoy me up and give me success. I'm still a LONG way from my goal, and even though it is seemingly impossible to reach 60 pounds gone by June 27th, I know that God is a miracle-working God, and I'm trusting in Him to move this mountain of fat. Thanks to everyone who is going with me on this Journey. I appreciate your support!

my body stalled about 3 weeks where I would either go down a couple ounces or go up some ounces and now it is finally losing again be patient

Since a pound may be approximately 3,500 calories, once one's excess water is lost and the gut is cleaned out we cannot expect to lose over about a half pound a day when fasting. We don't know how your body is going to react in the next few days. You do have the discipline to be really strict for the next month and a half.

Excellent work. Losses are always nonlinear even when fasting. You may want to check out Lyle McDonald's "Of Whooshes and squishy fat" for an explanation.

Your doing great. Don’t get discouraged. Just don’t let your body go into starvation mode. Need to play with your metabolism
