I ate more calories yesterday....almost 2100....and was less active. Hubby & I did walk. The wind was quite chilly and it was in the 50's....cooler than it's been. We got into the low 30's last night 😒 after having really nice Spring weather for awhile. I moved a few potted plants into the garage but didn't do anything with the pots I'd added impatiens & vinca to recently. The vinca looks OK but I don't think the impatiens are too happy. I've held off adding annuals to the gardens for just that reason. The perennials seem to be fine.

I spent the afternoon yesterday watching 2 episodes of the video I got at the Library...The Good Fight. I had watched season 1 on CBS, but the further seasons are only available for an additional charge....that I choose not to pay. Anyway, I have 2 weeks to watch the 13 episodes. I also watched All Rise (recorded). So approximately 135 minutes of TV 😏.

I was feeling a bit like I'd gotten lazy....remembering all the time I spent in the gardens last year....so I checked my journal from a year ago. So....I was actually at approximately the same weight I am now, fluctuating up & down a pound or two. I had recently hit goal & was just starting to increase my calories just a bit. And even though I was working in the gardens as I remember, it was about this time I really got into it....planting, adding mulch, etc. I felt better cause I know as the weather continues to warm up I'll spend more time outdoors. Also knowing I've maintained within 5 lbs. of my goal for the past year...no more than a couple over....is definitely a positive. I know I have to remain diligent but a day with my feet up is OK, too.

Our hot water heater is still on the fritz. Hubby ordered a new heating element....expected to arrive Friday. We are heating water on the stove to wash dishes...can't run the dishwasher. Luckily we are able to shower in our seperate guest suite that runs on a different hot water heater.

We are planning another in person Book Club Meeting next week...this time at the home of one of our members. Food & drink expected 😊

I have half a pound of ground beef I need to use, so I think dinner will be meatballs...and something else. Not sure what yet 😉

It's sunny, but still cool out today. Will walk this afternoon, but not sure what else is on the agenda. I did plan to mix up a bowl of sugar free Jello. A Very low cal sweet dessert with a spritz of canned whipped cream.

Great to have those records to look back on and put yourself back on track if you feel there are too many days that have gotten lazy. I think it's normal to be a bit more relaxed over time, but I think you have the right approach : not letting it get out of hand.
