I’m Asian and was taught to eat every single grain of rice... every tiny
little thing on my plate. Plus in Filipino culture, there are a lot of fatty dishes, pork, and fat textures that are prized in our cooking.

Being Asian also has its challenges when you’re trying to lose weight. Filipino food tends to be some of the heavier of the Asian cuisines. So I’ve started learning how to lighten up my meals!

I'm going to Massage Therapy school and will be UBER busy until Jan 2022 because of my class load...

...But I always try to make room for posting meals that were awesome, because I get a lot of inspiration from the fat secret community and I want to give back.

Hopefully, I can inspire you to eat healthier and try things outside of your comfort zone!

I apologize ahead of time if I don't respond to comments right away in my journal entries. It often takes me up to a few days to make my way back. But I do eventually check during the week. School is first, and I need my brain focused on the pathology and anatomy classes.
