I think I actually haven’t been eating enough with too low of a calorie intake. Maybe eating a little more will help with metabolism...but not too much.

Yes, it's possible to have "too much of a calorie deficit"! From what I've read, at a certain point, the body adapts to very low calorie intake by reducing the rate of basal metabolism, and that can set up the dieter for rebound when the calorie intake goes back up. (That seems to be the story on "The Greatest Loser." In response to the question of why there've been no TGL reunions: After six months of high activity and very low calorie intake, going back to what would be a "normal" activity and calorie levels caused the contestants to regain some, if not all, of their lost weight.)

LOL. Oh well. As for eating more I think that is a good idea. I am working on that as well. Baby steps
