PTL, weight down again this morning, from 227.6 to 227.0. Hoping that by Monday's weigh-in it will be down to 226.6, which will be a 2-pound loss for the week. Got in 1-1/2 miles of walking in the house yesterday. I like opening the shades and being able to see the views of the fall leaves from all the different rooms of my house.

Had a pretty productive day yesterday. Finished the vacuuming, washed the inside of the two big dining room windows and the outside of the one that sits over the deck. Going to get my husband to get the ladder and clean the outside of the other one. Lots of birds and bugs like to try to commit suicide by diving into that window! We'll be sitting at the dining room table for Wednesday's birthday dinner, so it is very important that the focal point be clean and sparkly.

I think I'm going to try to engage my grandson in helping me with some of the party preparation today. He will like going to Dollar Tree with me and getting balloons. He also likes using the dusting brush. I might even let him "help me" use the Shark Duo to "mop" the kitchen floor! I will try to make everything fun, and intersperse it with things like blowing bubbles, playing in the fall leaves, shooting nerf guns at each other. I think we'll wear our full-face snorkel masks for the gun play so we don't have to hide our faces from onslaught.

I'm so blessed that my grandson WANTS to spend time with me. He loves "going to Grammie's house," and it warms my heart that it is such a special occasion for him, even though we do it weekly. I pray we'll be best buds for many many years to come.

Got up at 4 to get all my regular "stuff" done before I pick grandson up at 9am. Onward!
