Weight back down this morning, PTL. 244.0 which, if it holds until tomorrow, will be 1.4 pounds for the week. Ate a 2nd slice of my DKB toast with butter again last night, putting my calories at 1,821. Today, I'm planning to only have 1,520, which will make my daily average for the week 1,680. That's not too bad; but I'm definitely reducing it for next week to, hopefully, see better results.

Knee still hurting. Didn't take any meds for it yesterday, and trying not to do any today. REALLY need to get this weight down some more to spare my joints.

I actually dreamt about the pool last night. I guess this nightmare is weighing on me. I just want to be DONE with it, but we can't be until it is perfectly balanced and the water crystal clear. UGH!

The Taco Casserole was a success. Thought of a couple things we will do to make it even better next time, like adding refried beans and cheese to the recipe. It tastes like a taco salad. I skipped the crushed tortilla chips on top yesterday, and opted to have shredded cheddar cheese on top (which was actually 40 calories MORE than half a serving of tortilla chips). Oh well, it was healthier and really made it tasty. I added a packet of taco seasoning to a pint of sour cream and we put dollops of that on top, which was delicious. I carefully measured out two tablespoons of it (60 calories for the sour cream) and then added 1 tsp of the taco mix to my calorie calculations, only adding 8 additional calories. We'll definitely be having this again!

Happy Resurrection Day, everyone. If you're debating about whether or not to go to church this morning, GO! You can't get the Christian fellowship and encouragement watching a church TV show. And, while you're there, try to be a blessing to someone else. (That's my sermon for the day, lol)

Congratulation on the weight going down. You're sure right the cheese is better for you than the tortilla chips. I've never used packaged taco seasoning but I think I'd like to buy some. My weight is going down too now that I'm not eating bread but the fruit I'm eating may be a problem. I agree about church, and I'm doing ok generally.
