My LEAST "rules followed" day this year - because I had a very painful tooth extraction. I did better than I COULD have done, though! I didn't yield to the temptation to have a big mound of mashed potatoes, or to sit around eating a boat load of ice cream all day, OR to have a Diet Coke! All of those are "comfort" things that I felt like I "deserved" because of how much pain I was in. Small victories.
