Darn carbs add up too fast. My big things from yesterday that surprised me was psyllium husk and cabbage ( my home made sauerkraut). I used a keto stick this morning and it didn't show any ketosis. I don't live by the stick but I was curious since I haven't started to fat adapt well yet. My morning, fasting blood sugar is 120 which I think is high.. hmm how to do this and not be hungry is the key. Im fasting from about 9pm - 4 pm daily. 18 hours.

secondly, I have a type two diabetic insulin dependent friend coming to visit tonight and I'm begging him to watch all the Dr Fung videos etc and cut so carbs. he's in his 60s and have all the complications. congestive heart failure, diabetic nerve pain, taking too much insulin a1c 9 etc. Doctors are killing people with drugs without addressing the diet . I could have had a much better life if I didn't listen to the stupid low fat low calories. wish me luck with my friend. I'm going to try to cook him a carb free dinner.
