Hi I am on FS to lose a few LBs. and more importantly when I reach my goal weight, I would like to maintain it, which I have found hard in the past. I have been prediabetic (type 2) for the last 10 years. My weight in December 2018 was 84KGS. in May last year I was invited on a diabetes prevention course which runs until February this year, the focus is on keeping active,healthy eating,maintaining a healthy weight and reducing stress,they recommend keeping a food diary. During the time I have been on the course my weight as of 12th July reduced to 74.5 KGS. at this time my blood sugar levels were in the normal range, however by the 27 Sept. I weighed 79.5KGS. so here I am.
I live in the UK 25 mile south east of Manchester,1100ft. above sea level in the south Pennine Hills. I am married, I have two children and a dog. Most of my exercise comes from walking the dog, I aim to do 2 hours or more a day.
My weight history: At 22 years old I weighed 10st 13lbs. (69.3 kg) I was skinny with a 28 inch waste,big hands,feet and shoulders, I could eat and drink as much as I liked,just could not put any weight on, I tried because I hated the way I looked. Fast forward 10 years (now married with two children) I don't think I had been weighed in all that time,I was on holiday and I just got weighed with my shoes on and everything in my pockets, I weighed 12st 6lbs (78.9kg) I remember thinking to myself, what do you know I have grown into a proper man, still I wasn't fat, Then came my forties and my weight had gone up to 13st 10lbs (87 kg) I slimmed for the first time, so I guess I was lucky with my weight when I was young. I have never been back to 13st 10lbs but I have always had to watch what I eat.
