IT Consultant/Gym Fanatic who's very much into fitness. (Asian Male 47 years old, body type: Endomorph / Dad-Bod)

I lost about 3 stones (from 14 to 11 stone) due to an injury on my shoulder 7 years ago, so stopped heavy weight training. Another reason for losing the weight was that I reduced the amount of sugar I consumed from my diet. There are LOADS of hidden sugars in the foods we eat (milk, bread, yogurt, etc.)

I'm now back in training and introduced 1 day Cardio into my fitness plan. (I hate cardio exercising, its SO boring! IMO). I've tried to cut out lots of processed foods and replace them with whole foods where I can. I pre-make all of my weekday breakfasts in advance. (sometimes lunch too), 80% of my diet consists of vegetarian meals.

My new goal is to put "ON" some weight (about 1 stone or 6-7kg). My aim is to try and train 4 days a week. 1 Day Cardio and 3 days weights. I'm now going for a "lean" muscularly look rather than a "bulky weight lifter look I used have". I weigh myself once a week, every Friday morning 1st thing before eating to keep a consistent record.
