Was a student athlete since middle school but graduated from college in 2014. I moved to Argentina and my diet and exercise routine changed drastically. I gained about 20 pounds over the span of 2 years and have been struggling to lose it since. The good news is I haven't gained any (net) weight since 2015. The bad news is I haven't lost any either, but have yoyo'd up and down between 180 and 195. I have an athletic build and I'm tall, but my ideal weight is around 170. I'd like to get to 160-165 to have a little wiggle room. With my husband we plan on having our first child in the next 2-3 years, so I'd like to be a little under my goal weight when I get pregnant. I feel really uncomfortable in my own skin and don't want my insecurity issues to affect other aspects of my life. I constantly compare myself to others and would like to form a healthier relationship with my self and my body over time. My current goal (starting August 2019) is to lose 2 kg(4.4 pounds)/month. I know this objective won't be easy to reach, but at my age it shouldn't be impossible. I plan on walking 15 miles a week (walking one way to school every day) and we are currently food prepping on Sundays. I look forward to the sense of community and support on this page and hope to make big changes in my lifestyle by the end of this year. My fatsecret goal weight in 165, but by the end of this year I'd like to weigh 176 (20 pound loss). Here goes nothing, hopefully I'll be updating frequently!
