Happy New Year Fat Secret Family!
Please excuse the length of this post. It is mostly for my future self (please remember)
I am writing this bio now because I want to renew my commitment to this program and my journey. Somehow, I need to reduce this post to 2000 characters. The history part will be cut and pasted into a journal entry.

The “how it started” is found on Journal entry Jan. 1, 2021

Here is the “how it’s going”:
I record everything I eat. I try to stay under 1600 kcal, but I don’t freak out if I go over. I just NEED to know. I drink 150 oz of water every day. I fast every day 16 – 18 hours. I eat from about 2:00pm until about 8:00pm. I also will chew sugarless gum starting around noon if I feel hungry. I usually drink a protein shake and eat a string cheese for “lunch”. Sometimes add a protein granola bar. Sometimes, I don’t eat until “dinner”.
Starting Weight = 367 March 1, 2021
Current Weight = 252 January 1, 2022
“Non Scale” victories 2021:
1) A1C lowered into “normal” range 5.5 (December labs)
2) Traveled by air in October – no seatbelt extender
3) Traveled by air in December – used the facilities no problem
4) Rode a roller coaster (I love scary rides)
5) New jeans (and clothes) needed (from size 24 to size 18)(August 2022 - 12)

Next steps:
1 – continue to log all calories and weigh ins
2 - find an exercise that works for me
3 - see a nutritionist about caloric questions and macros questions (where should I be?)
4 - ??

About me: I am a 57 year old woman. I am a wife, a mother, and a nana. I will always need to control my “calories in / calories out”! This is a lifelong journey! Never STOP!
